We have a wonderful opportunity to work with a girl's secondary school situated in the London Borough of Stratford who are seeking to appoint a Behaviour Mentor to join a dynamic and supportive team. You will be working as part of a team addressing the needs of students who need help to overcome barriers. This is an excellent opportunity and an extremely rewarding role. The role:• To build and implement strategies for pupils to improve their behaviour.• Manage and support students with challenging behaviour.• Develop 1:1 and small group mentoring relationships with identified students. • Working alongside teachers, SENCo and support staff to promote the effective use of behaviour management strategies. Horizon Teachers are working with an Alternative Provision based in Enfield who are looking to appoint a Behaviour Mentor to work with their hard-working, yet challenging students from after Easier break the end of the academic year, on a full-time basis. The school caters for Secondary aged children and many of the students at the school have challenging behaviour and may have been excluded from mainstream school. The school provides a therapeutic approach to support and nurture children and support them according to their needs.In this behaviour mentor position you will be working 1:1 and within small groups to help improve the wellbeing of the students and help manage their behaviour.
