Are you a teacher of Art looking for an exciting opportunity to work in East London in a thriving, dynamic and friendly secondary school that has a very good reputation in the local area? The school is looking to employ an enthusiastic and highly motivated creative Art teacher who is able to deliver Art with a real passion.

The school in recent years has been transformed, teaching takes place in modern well equipped classrooms and teachers work hard to maintain the schools reputation in the local area. The Art curriculum allows students of all abilities to thrive and achieve their full potential and progress levels are amongst the best in the borough. Staff at the school provide continued support to all students and with the support of an established senior leadership team have seen results dramatically improvement in recent years.

The Art department is a well-respected department and teachers have a wealth of experience. You will be under the direction of the Head of Art and responsible for teaching Art at KS3 as well as the popular GCSE Art. At GCSE classes are taught in a very creative environment and Arty classrooms allow students to work in space and create. The department is very well resourced and a dedicated technician ensures that all lessons are able to be interactive as well as engaging for all. Teachers have access to and are able to use ICT suites to deliver interactive multimedia lessons and students are able to use these facilities to complete work in and out of lesson time.

The Head of Art is now looking for a teacher of Art to join the team. The successful teacher must have experience of teaching Art to KS3 and 4, the ability to teach at KS5 would be desirable but not essential. The school is looking to appoint a dynamic and motivated teacher who has experience of delivering outstanding lessons and a record of developing student achievement. This role would suit an experienced teacher of an NQT looking for their first teaching position.

For all staff an extensive CPD programme is offered, NQTs will be supported throughout their induction year and training is offered weekly to ensure successful completion and rapid progression into their teaching career.

• Have relevant specialist qualifications and experience in a science specialism with the ability to teach at all Key Stages and all abilities
