Horizon Teachers are working with a Primary school based in Lambeth assisting in their search for a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to start from September 2024. You will support a child with behavioural challenges.

The opportunity
  • A long-term Teaching Assistant role which is likely to become permanent.
  • Supporting a child on a 1:1 basis within a mainstream classroom.
  • Develop a career in Education working alongside experienced and qualified Primary and SEN professionals.
  • Daily rates up to £110 per day DOE.
  • 5 minutes' walk from a Central London train station.

Your experience
  • A strong background in EYFS, Primary or Secondary setting.
  • Experience working with children with SEND and complex behavioural needs.
  • You have a proactive mindset and think on your feet during challenging situations.
  • You demonstrate professionalism and discretion when dealing with sensitive matters, which might include personal care.
  • Most importantly, you have a passion for working with children and a desire to build long-lasting, rewarding relationships.
