A Primary school in Waltham Forest, London, is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from April 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and contribute to their academic and personal development.

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of teaching materials and resources.
  • Provide 1:1 support to students who require additional help with their learning.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Supervise and support students during class activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Help to assess student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  • Assist with the organization of extracurricular activities and school events.

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for working with young learners and supporting their development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to undergo relevant training and development.
