Horizon Teachers are working with a school in Harrow that are looking for Teaching Assistants. The school is a SEND school for students with Severe Learning Difficulties and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. The role will have personal care elements and is suited to both Teaching Assistants and people with experience in the Care sector.
The school is for primary-aged children with SLD and PMLD, they have over 100 students and employ a huge team of support staff to ensure the students are properly cared for. As a result, the school are open to both people with classroom experience, and care experience surrounding looking after vulnerable people.
