Horizon Teachers are working with a Special Educational Needs School, graded Good by Ofsted in July 2023 who are looking to appoint a SEND Teacher to join their team from September 2024.

The state-of-the-art SEND School in West London provides tailored support to children with Social Emotional and Mental Health, they provide a nurturing, safe, creative, and inspiring environment for their students and ensure every student feels supported, respected, and valued.

A SEND teacher at this school will be responsible for teaching as class of 10 students with SEMH needs, they will be a group of mixed ability cross KS1 and KS2. You would need the skills to create, plan, and deliver quality learning activities and resources. You need to be able to use a range of strategies to support learning, behaviour, and personal development according to the children's needs.

  • Hours - 8.30 am - 4.00 pm
  • Pay Range - £135-£250 per day

The school is seeking someone with:
  • Experience working in a school for children with SEMH, Learning Difficulties and Autism.
  • Can teach across the Primary curriculum.
  • Hold UK QTS - ECT's are encouraged to apply to this post.
