An outstanding 2-form entry primary school based in Lewisham are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their team after the May half term. The role is initially for the remainder of the academic year then permanent for the right person.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students in Key stage 2. Your responsibilities will include providing one-on-one support for students with SEN, help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, and assisting the class teacher with various tasks.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience working with primary-aged students and a good understanding of SEN. You should possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to build effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
