Horizon Teachers are working with a Secondary School in Islington, North London who are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join their collaborative and friendly team! In this role, you will be responsible for covering teacher absences and managing classroom behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You shall supervise students in the absence of their regular teachers.
  • Follow and implement lessons provided by the absent teacher.
  • Manage classroom behaviour, addressing any disruptions or issues that may arise.
  • Ensure student attendance is accurately recorded and report any absences or concerns to the appropriate staff members.
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues and parents/guardians regarding student progress and behaviour.
