Cover Supervisor

Horizon Teachers is currently working with a secondary school to fill the vacancy of Cover Supervisor in the London borough of Merton. This is a long-term position to start ASAP all the way to the end of the academic year.

The role of a Cover Supervisor:

• To supervise classes in the absence of the subject teacher
• To liaise with the appropriate staff about the work that has been set
• To provide the students with clear instructions relating to the work that has been set
• To provide support in other areas of the school when no cover is required
