Personal Assistant to the Head Teacher We are seeking to appoint an efficient, exceptionally well organised Personal Assistant to work directly for the Head Teacher, as well as providing support to the Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will have experience in a school setting as a Personal Assistant/other secretarial roles. It is a permanent role to start as soon as the right person is found. Applicants should have experience in an administrative role with a proven track record in secretarial tasks including: Acting as the first line of response for the Head Teacher’s communications, screening emails and telephone calls. The ability to communicate orally and through writing. Effective diary and appointment management. SEND Teaching Assistant

Many improvements have been made to support children within specialist provisions such as Complex Needs Schools and Pupil Referral Units (PRUs), these developments have led to an increase in the demand for support staff. We work with a wide range of special educational needs schools in North London, and are therefore looking for enthusiastic and passionate Support Staff to join a range of successful and friendly schools and faculties. As a specialist consultancy we work with Pupil Referral Units, Complex Needs Schools and Provisions off of mainstream schools, the range of needs can be anything from physical disabilities to hearing impairments (HI), mild autism to sever learning difficulties (SLD). You will need a DBS check less than 3 years old or be willing to do a new on quickly with us. The team pride themselves in believing that ‘every child matters’ and putting their student’s needs first. The school have 2 main library’s that allow Library lessons to take place on a regular basis. The right candidate would have previous experience working in school libraries as well being abreast with new technologies. It is essential that have great communication skills, as well as excellent IT skills, being well organised, and having an ability to stay composed under pressure and in a busy working environment. Exam Invigilators Required South London

Exams Invigilators required for the summer term Flexible working hours including full day and half day shifts Work available throughout May and June  Wonderful school - rated outstanding with organised, supportive staff Initial induction and training provided  £8.60- £13.41 per hour The school  An outstanding school in South London are seeking additional exam invigilators for the exam period over the approaching summer term. Work will be available throughout May and June 2018 and you can pre-book shifts according to your schedule. You can book morning and/or afternoon shifts. The school is a beautiful, newly refurbished school with exceptional facilities located in South London.  The Role  You will prepare the room for exams by placing the students candidate cards on their desks, giving them the right papers (DOUBLE-CHECK that they are the correct paper and the correct level/tier) and ensuring they have the necessary equipment. During the exam you will walk around the room making sure that pupils are not speaking or cheating. If pupils need to go to the toilet or be removed from the exam hall for any reason you may be asked to go with them and supervise them. After the exam you will collect the papers and place them in an official envelope which is sealed and sent to be marked.  Some students with special educational needs may have access arrangements where they are entitled to a scribe to write some or all of their exam for them. If you are doing a role like this you will be writing everything they ask you to write and afterwards completing a form to comment on the extend of writing that you did for them. Students have had mocks and should be prepared for scribing. They will be able to tell you the additional help they require.  Training will be given to successful applicants.
