Are you an experience teaching assistant who is passionate about working with young people, are you studying and need flexible work on the side?
Here at Horizon Teachers we are currently working alongside a good secondary school who is looking for additional TA’s to join their successful staffing team.
They are a supportive 11-18 mixed school with new approaches proven to add values to students’ progress in learning which they exploit and celebrate, their personalised structures and motivation systems enable them to learn each student’s strengths and areas for development to a degree that makes them an example of ‘good practice’ for other schools.
The school has a clear vision to develop young people who are caring, resourceful and inspired to succeed by providing a safe, inclusive and disciplined environment.
To develop outstanding student behaviour, attitude, response to learning and to life in the 21st century including attendance and punctuality.

To be successful in your application the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, experience and qualities;
Experience of working with children
A Degree (Not essential but desired)
Excellent organisational skills
Positive can do attitude
Ability to engage with and inspire young people
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Your daily duties for this role will consist of the following;
Helping to ensure good learning takes place in every lesson
Supporting the class teacher in all aspects as instructed (including managing behaviour)
Being a positive role model for all students at all times
Helping to maintain discipline across the entire school
Building rapport with staff and students
