Horizon Teachers is currently working with a well-known Academy in the borough of Westminster who are looking for enthusiastic graduates to join them as general teaching assistants in mainstream education or within the SEN department.

As a teaching assistant your role will involve supporting students with Special Educational needs across the Academy, you will be tasked with ensuring pupils are supported throughout the day and in every lesson, you will be allocated to students to support and you will play a key part in their school life, regular assessments and meetings will take place and you will devise intervention plans for each student.

We are looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistants who:
Has a degree (ideally a 2:1 in English, Maths, Science)
Has a proactive, enthusiastic and positive ‘can do’ attitude
Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
Enjoys working with young people
Is adaptable and flexible
