We use the following cookies on our website:
This is a small cookie that allows the site owner to check which pages are the most popular on the site and so provide more site content that is popular to users. It contains no personal or private data at all and is used on millions of websites worldwide.
This is used when you ask the system to remember your login and stores the email address you use to login only.
You can shortlist jobs on the site by clicking the “SAVE” button on jobs. This is used to be able to remember jobs you place in your shortlist, and is classed as essential to the site functionality and thus can be stored regardless of your selection to ensure the site works. However we wanted to bring this to your attention as we are keen not to hide anything from you.
Jobs Recommended For You and Recent Searches
The “Jobs Recommended For You” feature on the homepage is based on cookie data as you browse and use the website, whether you are using the site as a logged-in visitor or non-logged in visitor. “Recent Searches” appears in the search bar on the Jobs page and is based on cookie data from any recent searches you have made on the site.
“Jobs Recommended For You” displays on the homepage if there are any matching jobs based on your recent searches. It will also present matching jobs to you based on any job alerts you have created within your candidate dashboard.
If you are logged in and there is at least one recommended job based on any job alerts you have set up, “Jobs Recommended For You” will be shown. If there are no current jobs that match the job alerts you have set up in your candidate dashboard, “Jobs Recommended For You” will be shown to you based on your recent searches. If you have chosen not to subscribe to any job alerts, “Jobs Recommended For You” will appear on the homepage based solely on your recent searches.
