Go Beyond Charity Supporting Children

At Horizon Teachers, we understand the importance of enhancing children’s education and nurturing their growth and development, particularly those who are disadvantaged.

We are proud to be supporting Go Beyond charity, which provides free, week-long respite breaks in Devon, Cornwall or Derbyshire to disadvantaged children aged 8-15 across the UK.

Go Beyond support children from a variety of disadvantaged backgrounds, including children who act as young carers, live in poverty, are subjected to abuse and much more.

With Go Beyond charity, we send a disadvantaged child from a London school on a Go Beyond break. This break gives them the opportunity to increase their confidence, benefit from positive experiences and develop valuable social skills.

HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?

Schools

Schools can act as a referral agent by referring any child that could benefit from a GO BEYOND break. As Go Beyond is ASDAN accredited, children attending a GO BEYOND break during term-time will still be marked as present on their school register under Category B.
