An alternative provision school in Southwark are looking to appoint a Behaviour Support Assistant to work in their school on a permanent basis. The school is a happy and safe environment which provides national curriculum subjects and a host of additional sports and activities. You will be joining a team of committed and professional staff and provide specialists support for those with Emotional, Behavioural or literacy difficulties. Date: ASAP Start Salary: £15,600 - £18,525Location: South LondonContract Term: PermanentHours: 40 Hours Per Week, 8.30am - 4.30pm (39 Weeks)The school are passionate about individual progression and promote positive behaviour management and efficiency within the classroom. With the setting of the school is focused around the retention of students with challenging behaviour who have been temporary or permanently excluded from mainstreams schools, it is advised that you have previous experience within an alternative provision and pupil referral setting. You would need to have a good understanding of the national curriculum including core subjects, Mathematics, Science and English. However, if you are a sports, drama and arts or music fanatic then do not hesitate to get in touch as practical based activities are extremely important to the social development within the school.
