Horizon Teachers are working with a number of secondary schools across Greenwich, South London, who are looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teachers to join their teams. These fantastic opportunities are suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their careers within supportive and welcoming secondary school environments.
As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging pupils to develop a deeper understanding of significant historical events, periods and figures. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students to think critically, analyse historical sources and develop their own perspectives on the past.
